Welcome to ExpecTech Security & Networking LLC (“ExpecTech,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By accessing our website, requesting an estimate, purchasing products, or using our services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use our website or services.

1. Services

ExpecTech Security & Networking LLC provides professional low-voltage and security system services, including but not limited to:

  • Security camera installation and maintenance

  • Access control systems

  • Gate operators and automation

  • Intercom and telephone entry systems

  • License Plate Recognition (LPR) systems

  • Network cabling and structured wiring

  • Network equipment installation

  • System troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance

All services are subject to written estimates, contracts, or service agreements.

2. Estimates & Quotes

All estimates are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.

Pricing is based on the information available at the time the estimate is prepared. Additional labor, materials, permits, or unforeseen site conditions may require a revised estimate or change order.

3. Deposits & Payment

Unless otherwise agreed in writing:

  • A 50% deposit is required before materials are ordered or work begins.

  • The remaining balance is due immediately upon substantial completion of the project.

  • Service calls may require payment upon completion.

  • Late payments may be subject to interest at the maximum rate permitted by applicable law.

  • Customer is responsible for all collection costs, reasonable attorney’s fees, and court costs incurred in collecting unpaid balances.

4. Scheduling

Project schedules are estimates only.

Weather, product availability, permitting, inspections, customer-requested changes, or unforeseen circumstances may affect scheduling.

5. Customer Responsibilities

The customer agrees to:

  • Provide safe access to the work site.

  • Ensure utilities are available as needed.

  • Remove personal property that may interfere with installation.

  • Obtain any required HOA approvals unless otherwise agreed.

  • Notify ExpecTech of concealed wiring, hazardous conditions, or structural issues.

6. Change Orders

Any customer-requested modifications after approval of the estimate may require:

  • Additional labor

  • Additional materials

  • Schedule adjustments

  • Written approval before work proceeds

7. Warranty

ExpecTech warrants its workmanship for the period specified in the proposal or invoice.

Manufacturer warranties apply separately to equipment supplied by the manufacturer.

The warranty does not cover:

  • Customer misuse

  • Abuse

  • Vandalism

  • Lightning or power surges

  • Floods, hurricanes, fire, or other acts of God

  • Third-party modifications or repairs

  • Internet or cellular service interruptions

  • Normal wear and tear

8. Existing Equipment

ExpecTech is not responsible for failures of existing customer-owned equipment discovered during installation, service, or integration with new equipment.

9. Limitation of Liability

Security systems reduce risk but cannot eliminate it.

ExpecTech does not guarantee that installed systems will prevent theft, vandalism, property damage, injury, or other losses.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ExpecTech’s liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the customer for the specific services giving rise to the claim.

ExpecTech shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

10. Monitoring Services

Unless specifically stated in a written agreement, ExpecTech does not provide alarm monitoring, emergency dispatch, or security guard services.

11. Intellectual Property

All website content, logos, graphics, photographs, documents, and marketing materials remain the property of ExpecTech Security & Networking LLC and may not be copied, reproduced, or distributed without written permission.

12. Website Use

Users agree not to:
